World Handicap System 2020

Introduction

The way that handicaps for golfers around the world are calculated has been transformed by a new system developed by The R&A and the USGA, the World Handicap System (WHS). A number of countries round the world started using the new system on 1st January 2020 and it came into force in Great Britain and Ireland on 2nd November 2020.

Winter greens at 6 and 8. Areas of the course remain wet. Please take care when walking on slopes. Mats MUST be used on fairways or take your ball 2m into the rough. Winter wheels MUST be used on all electric trolleys. Please carry your bag if possible. Buggies NOT permitted. Please follow all traffic management ropes. Please repair all pitchmarks, divots, and bunkers after play. All newly constructed bunkers are non-play areas.
